Here in School, Surekha mostly concentrated on filmy magazines than her subjects and turned deaf to Mrs.D’ Souza her Science Teacher which was her first class period.
Even in Tests Surekha scored meager marks, her school teacher Mrs O Connor repriamanded and told her to get her parents signature on the Marks Sheet, but Surekha often used to forge her mother Mamtas signature and give it back the next day which she is expert in .
Mamta had even enrolled her daughter Surekha in nearby Anand Rao Tutorials which is famous for coaching students like her. But more than attending the class she would enter in to a gossip towards junior students explaining about her ambition to join Bollywood and also showed her dance reflexes to them and enjoyed their cheering.
In the night Mamta used to force Surekha to study and left for her sleep to rest as she had to get up early in the morning.Here in the room Surekha was seen chatting with a friend called

One day Pratap Reddy who woke up in the middle of the night to leave for bathroom , he saw light in Surekhas room he tapped the room and in a silent tone “ Surekha what are you doing its 11.30 pm and you have wake up early in the morning”
Surekha looked surprised and in a sheepy tone “Dad I am busy with my schools project work, give me 5 minutes I will wind up” saying she looked at the door
Pratap in a sleepy tone “OK Beta wind up fast “saying he left towards the room
